Federal Cafe Leeds

Federal is the first coffee shop I went to a few days after moving to Leeds City Centre and it was the perfect welcome. Despite being familiar with Leeds' coffee scene, this was my first time here and I was greeted with trendy mid-century interiors and friendly staff.

In my usual fashion I ordered a flat white and a bag of their house blend roasted by Ozone Coffee to take home with me now that I'd finally taken my espresso machine out of its moving box.

Their coffee had some of the sweetest flavour notes I've ever had from a coffee, including brown sugar and limoncello. A great coffee for a mooch around the centre. I will be returning to Federal!
